AMP LIGHTING [ TENSEGRITY SERIES ]
"Tensegrity" is a term that blends "tension" and "integrity." It was first conceived by Kenneth Snelson and later embraced by Richard Buckminster Fuller. Essentially, it's a unique way of building things using both tense elements (like cables) and compressed elements (like struts). What's fascinating is that in a tensegrity structure, the compressed parts don't touch each other directly. Instead, they're held together by the tension in the cables. This gives the structure stability and strength, even though it uses fewer components than traditional designs. Richard Buckminster Fuller used triangles and geometric shapes to create these structures, which look a bit like polyhedrons. The tension in the cables gives them a cool floating appearance. The Tensegrity Lamp was inspired by this idea – it's a lamp designed with this concept in mind, balancing tension and compression to create an eye-catching and functional piece of art.
AMP STD CLOCK [ TRAFFIC SERIES ]
The fonts used for public signage are designed for optimal visibility. In transportation systems, legibility is particularly crucial, especially on highways, at airports, and within railways, where the visibility of numbers indicating speed, gates, and schedules is of utmost importance. [TRAFFIC SERIES] has been crafted by adopting fonts from international transportation systems to create a design that prioritizes visibility.
